FAQs

Frequently asked
questions

Here are some common questions about our workspace to help you understand better.

What is Aura Travel Collections?

Aura Travel Collections is an editorial, ultra-minimal travel planning tool designed for aesthetic organization. You can create custom collection boards, add text entries for stops, or paste links to instantly generate visual preview cards for your itineraries.

How does Cloud Sync work?

When you register an account in the Account panel, all your boards and plans are synced to our Cloudflare D1 SQL database. Updates made in your workspace sync in the background automatically, allowing you to access your travel collections anywhere.

Can I use the app without an account?

Yes. Unregistered guests can build and edit boards locally on their machine. Your plans are saved to local storage. However, creating an account is highly recommended to prevent data loss if cache gets cleared.

Why am I limited to 2 collections?

The free plan allows up to 2 active travel collections (trip boards). This keeps the database footprint lightweight. Collaborative sharing and unlimited collection slots are coming in future upgrades.

How do I add link cards with images?

Simply paste any website link (URL) into your collection workspace input bar and hit enter. Aura calls the Microlink API to pull page metadata (og:image, title) to generate a premium-styled card in your column layout.
